Uric Acid Test is a rapid test for the semi-quantitative determination of uric acid levels in whole blood collected from a fingertip. The test is intended for in vitro diagnostics and can be performed independently at home. Uric acid is produced during the breakdown of purines in the body. Under normal conditions, it is filtered by the kidneys and excreted in the urine. How to perform the test?

1. Wash your hands with warm water and soap, then dry them thoroughly.
2. Open the package and prepare all the components of the kit.
3. Twist and remove the lancet cap.
4. Gently massage your hand from the wrist to the fingertips to increase blood flow.
5. Place the lancet against your fingertip and press firmly to draw a blood sample.
6. Wipe away the first drop of blood with a clean tissue.
7. Draw the second drop using the capillary tube up to the marked line.
8. Apply the blood sample to the test well.
9. Wait 2 minutes, then turn the test kit upside down.
10. Within the next 30 seconds, compare the color of the test field with the color scale and read the result.

The result should be read between 2 minutes and 2 minutes and 30 seconds after applying the blood sample.
