The BISAF Surface Drug Test is a practical test for detecting drugs on surfaces such as furniture, clothing, and everyday items, as well as in pills, powders, urine, and liquids. It can simultaneously detect up to 16 substances, and results are available in as little as 5 minutes.

How to perform the test?

For surfaces

1. Remove the test panel from its plastic packaging. Before performing the test, make sure the test panel is at room temperature (15–30°C).
2. Peel off the plastic cover from the test panel (the part with the orange and red elements).
3. Wipe the protruding strips across the surface where you suspect drugs are present.
4. With the arrows pointing down, submerge the test panel vertically in water for 10 to 15 seconds. Submerge the entire strips in water so that the water level does not exceed the arrows on the test panel.
5. Wait for colored lines to appear. Read the test result after 5 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes have elapsed.

For tablets and powders

1. Prepare: tablets/powder, a container for water, and water.
2. Pour the tablet/powder into the container with water and dilute at least 1 mg of the solid sample in 5 mL of water (1 bottle cap = 5 mL).
3. Mix thoroughly.
4. Remove the test panel from its foil packaging.
5. Before performing the test, make sure the test panel is at room temperature (15–30°C).
6. Remove the plastic cap from the test panel (the part with the orange and red elements).
7. With the arrows pointing down, immerse the test panel vertically in the water sample for 10 to 15 seconds. Immerse the entire strip in the water so that the water level does not exceed the arrows on the test panel.
8. Wait for the colored lines to appear.
9. Read the test result after 5 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes have elapsed.

For urine samples

1. Remove the test panel from the foil packaging
2. Before performing the test, make sure the test panel is at room temperature (15–30°C).
3. Collect urine in a clean, dry container.
4. Remove the plastic cap from the test panel (the part with the orange and red elements).
5. Immerse the test panel vertically in the sample for 10 to 15 seconds. Immerse the entire strip in the liquid so that the water level does not exceed the arrows on the test panel.
6. Wait for colored lines to appear, read the results after 5 minutes, and do not interpret the result after 10 minutes have elapsed.

For liquids

1. Remove the test panel from the foil packaging.
2. Before performing the test, make sure the test panel is at room temperature (15–30°C). Prepare the sample collection containers and the liquid sample.
3. Pour 1 to 3 drops of the suspected liquid into 5 mL of water (1 bottle cap = 5 mL).
4. Mix thoroughly.
5. Remove the plastic cap from the test panel (the part with the orange and red elements).
6. Immerse the test panel vertically in the sample for 10 to 15 seconds. Submerge the entire strip in water so that the water level does not exceed the arrows on the test panel.
7. Wait for colored lines to appear, read the results after 5 minutes, and do not interpret the result after 10 minutes have elapsed.
