Product description

Dengue Pen Test (whole blood)

This is an innovative and rapid pen-shaped test designed to aid in the diagnosis of a severe tropical disease in patients. Its advanced formula significantly simplifies and streamlines the testing process by minimizing required components and steps (it is performed without a test cassette or the need to mix the sample with a buffer). The test is intended for the qualitative detection of the dengue virus (DENV) in human whole blood obtained from a fingertip sample. It is available in bulk packaging of 20 units.

Dengue is a viral tropical disease transmitted by mosquitoes of the Aedes genus, primarily Aedes aegypti. It is caused by the dengue virus (DENV), which belongs to the Flaviviridae family. Symptoms include fever, severe headache, muscle and joint pain, rash, as well as nausea and vomiting. A more severe form of the disease, dengue hemorrhagic fever, can lead to organ failure and shock.

The high accuracy of this test ensures reliable results in just 15 minutes!
