Semi-quantitative CRP test (whole blood/serum/plasma)

This rapid cassette test is intended for the semi-quantitative determination of the concentration of human C-reactive protein (CRP). The test is performed using a whole blood, serum, or plasma sample. C-reactive protein is detected semi-quantitatively within the following ranges: 10–40 mg/L, 40–80 mg/L, and >80 mg/L. The test is characterized by high accuracy and ease of use, allowing for fast and reliable results in as little as 5 minutes. The test is available as a single-unit package.

C-reactive protein (CRP) in patient serum has been identified in association with acute infections, necrotic conditions, and various inflammatory infections. There is a strong correlation between serum CRP levels and the onset of the inflammatory process. Monitoring CRP levels in patient serum indicates the effectiveness of treatment and helps assess patient recovery.
